In front of Festetics Castle, you will find a fine collection of the most famous rose varieties produced by the best-known rose breeders. Further away you can see our native wild rose species, as well as related tree-like species such as St Lucie cherry (Prunus mahaleb), hawthorn (Crataegus), pear (Pyrus), ornamental apple species and varieties, which offer an unforgettable experience during their mass flowering in May.
