The smallest forms occur in abundance near Sheldon | Alicedale | Somerset East | Bruintjes Hoogte | Rietvlei near Graaff-Reinet | near Port Elizabeth (Bethelsdorp | Redhouse | Swartkops) and Hankey | where orange flowers are found. The larger forms are reported from Willowmore | Calitzdorp and Oudtshoorn.
