In the Orange Free State the species is found near Zastron | on the Jammerberg near Wepener | northwards to Ficksburg | while further east | in western Basutoland | it occurs near Butha Buthe in the north | Makhaleng (40 miles east of Maseru beyond Phurumela Mountain) | on Beacon Hill | and near Mafeteng in the south | also reported from East Griqualand | and near Estcourt | Natal.
